Thank you for choosing WiFi Password and Speed Test (also referred to as Wi-Fi Master & Speed Test, "we," "us," or "our"), developed by GameSoftGames. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our mobile application and related services (the "App").

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and Apple App Store Review Guidelines. We do not require user accounts, and we do not store your personal Wi-Fi passwords or private network credentials on our own servers.

1. Information Processed by the App

A. On-Device Network & Diagnostic Data

The primary features of the App run locally on your device. The following data is processed on your device to deliver core functionality:

• Wi-Fi & Network Connection Details: Connected network name (SSID), hardware address (BSSID), local IP address, subnet mask, gateway IP, and signal metrics.
• Speed Test & Latency Diagnostics: Download speed, upload speed, ping, jitter, bufferbloat metrics, and DNS resolution response times. Speed test history is stored locally on your device.
• Local Network (LAN) & Security Scanning: Active IP addresses, MAC vendor lookups, open port checks, Rogue AP checks, and ONVIF/RTSP/HTTP port checks used by the "Who's on My Wi-Fi" and "Spy Camera Detector" tools are executed directly on your device over your local network.
• Wi-Fi Vault & Password Generator: Passwords generated in the App or saved to your Wi-Fi Vault are stored exclusively in local storage on your device. They are never uploaded or transmitted to our servers.
• Device Specifications: Device model, operating system version, battery level, and available storage capacity displayed in the Device Specs tool are read locally from your device.

B. Public IP & Free Wi-Fi Map Requests

• Public IP & ISP Lookup: To display your external IP address, Internet Service Provider (ISP), and approximate network region on the Dashboard, Speed Test, and IP Routing screens, your device makes a direct request to a public IP lookup API (such as ip-api.com).
• Free Wi-Fi Hotspot Map: When you open the Free Wi-Fi Map, the App queries open public hotspot data from OpenStreetMap (Overpass API) and loads map tiles (CartoDB / OpenStreetMap) around your selected map area or current coordinates (if location permission is granted).

2. Device Permissions We Request

The App requests specific operating system permissions only when needed for relevant features. You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time in your device's Settings:

Permission	Purpose & How Data Is Handled
Location Services (When In Use)	Required by iOS/Android to read the connected Wi-Fi SSID/BSSID and to show nearby public Wi-Fi hotspots on the Free Wi-Fi Map. Your GPS coordinates are not stored on our servers.
Local Network	Required by iOS to discover devices connected to your local Wi-Fi subnet ("Who's on My Wi-Fi"), run ping/DNS/bufferbloat diagnostics, send Wake-on-LAN (WoL) packets, and scan for suspicious local devices.
Camera	Used strictly for (1) scanning Wi-Fi QR codes to connect or view network credentials, and (2) assisting with real-time optical glint detection in the Optical Camera Finder tool. Camera frames are processed in real time on your device; we never record, save, or transmit photos or video.
App Tracking Transparency (ATT)	Used on iOS to request your consent before allowing Google AdMob to access your device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA) to deliver personalized advertisements. If you decline, you will only see non-personalized (contextual) ads.

3. Third-Party Services, Analytics & Advertising

We integrate trusted third-party SDKs to support analytics, app stability, advertising (for free-tier users), and In-App Purchases:

A. Google Firebase Analytics

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate app usage patterns, feature popularity, and app stability so we can improve user experience. Firebase Analytics may collect:

• App interaction events (e.g., screen views, tab selections, speed test completion counts, tool opens, and paywall views).
• Pseudonymized app-instance identifiers, device model, OS version, language, and app version.

Firebase Analytics does not collect your saved Wi-Fi passwords, SSIDs, or local camera feed. Learn more at the Google Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy and Security.

B. Google AdMob (Advertising)

For users who have not purchased an Ad-Free or Pro upgrade, we use Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial, app-open, and rewarded advertisements. Depending on your consent choices (including iOS App Tracking Transparency and regional GDPR/CCPA consent prompts), AdMob may collect:

• Device Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS / AAID on Android) if tracking permission is granted.
• Coarse location derived from IP address, device identifiers, and ad interaction metrics (views, clicks, rewarded completions).
• Diagnostic and crash performance data related to ad delivery.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time in your device settings (iOS Settings > Privacy > Tracking) or by upgrading to our Ad-Free / Pro Bundle inside the App. See the Google Advertising Privacy Policy.

C. Apple StoreKit (In-App Purchases)

All In-App Purchases ("Remove Ads", "Unlock Pro Tools", and "All-In-One Pro Bundle") are processed securely by Apple Inc. via StoreKit. We do not receive, process, or store your credit card numbers, bank details, or billing address.

4. Legal Basis & Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction (including the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and California), you have the following rights:

• Right to Withdraw Consent: You may revoke Location, Camera, Local Network, or App Tracking Transparency (IDFA) permissions at any time through your device's system settings.
• Right to Erasure / Data Deletion: Because your Wi-Fi Vault entries, custom device labels, and Speed Test history are stored exclusively on your device, you can delete them at any time directly within the App or by uninstalling the App.
• Opt-Out of Sale / Targeted Advertising (CCPA/CPRA): We do not sell your personal information to data brokers. To prevent third-party ad networks from using your Advertising ID for cross-context behavioral advertising, disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track" in iOS Settings.

5. Data Security & Retention

We design the App so that sensitive network information (such as saved Wi-Fi Vault credentials and LAN scan results) remains locally on your device. Analytics telemetry processed by Firebase is retained in accordance with Google Firebase's standard retention policies (typically 2 to 14 months). While we take reasonable safeguards to protect information, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

Our App and Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in applicable jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new features, legal requirements, or third-party service updates. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
