Sweep ("the app," "we," "us") is developed by Games Oft Games. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use Sweep. The short version: your photos, videos, and contacts never leave your device. Sweep has no server, no account system, and no analytics or advertising SDKs.
Photos & Videos. With your permission, Sweep reads your photo library to find duplicates, similar shots, screenshots, and large files, and to compress photos and videos you choose to compress. Nothing is deleted or modified without your explicit confirmation. All scanning and processing happens entirely on your device.
Contacts. With your permission, Sweep reads your contacts to find likely duplicates. Merging contacts happens on your device and only when you confirm it.
Camera. Used only when you choose to scan a document. Scanned pages are saved in the app's private storage on your device.
Files & folders. If you use the folder-scan feature, Sweep reads the specific folder you pick to check for duplicate files. It never accesses any other folder.
Sweep offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly and yearly) through the Apple App Store or Google Play. All payment information is handled entirely by Apple or Google — Sweep never receives or stores your payment details. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled at any time from your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Sweep's on-screen text uses a font loaded from Google Fonts, which may fetch font files from Google's servers the first time the app runs. This request does not include any of your personal data. See Google's Privacy Policy for details on how Google handles these requests.
Purchases are processed by Apple and Google under their own privacy policies: Apple · Google.
Since Sweep doesn't collect or store your data anywhere but your own device, there's nothing on our end to retain or delete. Uninstalling the app removes all of Sweep's local data (such as scanned documents saved in its private storage) from your device.
Sweep is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children, consistent with the rest of this policy — we don't collect information from anyone.
If Sweep's data practices change (for example, if we add analytics or advertising in the future), we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above, and reflect the change honestly rather than silently.
