BrainSpark

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2, 2026

BrainSpark is a brain-training game published by Gamesoft. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. We built BrainSpark to work without an account or a backend server — most of what happens, happens only on your device.

The short version

Information we do not collect

BrainSpark does not require registration and does not collect your name, email address, phone number, physical address, or any other directly identifying information. There is no user account and no profile stored on any server we control.

Information stored on your device

To make the app work, BrainSpark stores the following data locally on your device only (using standard iOS/Android app storage):

None of this leaves your device unless you uninstall the app (which erases it) or restore a device backup that includes it. We have no way to access, view, or recover this data — it never reaches us.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

If you haven't purchased the full unlock, BrainSpark shows occasional interstitial ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers, approximate location, and app usage data to serve and measure ads, under Google's own privacy practices — this data collection is performed by Google, not by us, and is governed by their policies:

Google Privacy Policy  ·  How Google uses information from ads

Purchasing the one-time unlock removes ads entirely — once purchased, AdMob is not used again for your account/device.

In-App Purchases

BrainSpark offers a single one-time purchase to unlock every level and remove ads. This purchase is processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play — we never receive, see, or store your card number or other payment details. We only receive confirmation that a purchase was completed, so the app can unlock the content on your device.

Children's privacy

BrainSpark is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app requires no account and stores data only on-device, no personal information is transmitted regardless of the player's age. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app (for example, via an ad interaction), please contact us and we'll address it.

Data security

Because your data stays on your device rather than passing through a server we operate, there's no central database of BrainSpark user data to secure or that could be breached on our end. Data at rest on your device is protected by your device's own OS-level security.

Your choices

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the revised policy.
